I know, I know, the price for this case is outrageous. I thought so, too, until I bought one and have been using it for over a year. It still looks almost new. And I love the sleek look, as well as the slimness that doesn't take up too much room. The leather is very nice, as well as durable, and the case keeps my ipod from looking like it has been scrubbed with steel wool. My ipod slips out with just a tug on the ribbon. I had concerns about the ribbon fraying after a while, but the ribbon on my case has held up just fine. If this case wears out or becomes obsolete by not fitting a future ipod I get, I will get another one.

This is a hell of a case. Luxurious Italian leather that fits my 80GB Video iPod like a glove. On the rare occasion I have dropped mine, this case has come in pretty handy. The only drawback I can see is that you have to remove it from the case to get to the controls, but I don't like see-through cases anyway. This case has an impressive quality feel to it. Worth it to protect your iPod.
